- That's some tree you got there.
- Yeah, well, wife said we needed a second tree, I got a second tree.

- Dickens would be quite proud.
- Yeah.
Hey, Wally and the family visiting?
- Jean's taking me down to see them in the morning.
- Listen, Ed, if you, if you need anything, just let us know, okay?

- Mr. Coleman, can you please show me a magic trick?
- Leon, Mr. Coleman's is really busy right now.
- Oh, but you rarely do magic anymore.

- [Wally] Merry Christmas, grandpa.
- [Daughter] Look, I'm sorry about missing Christmas again.

It's just with Jim just getting back from his trip, we're just, we're so busy.

- [Second Woman at Bar] He's got one.

[Bartender] Well, last call's at seven.
I really hope whoever it is makes it by then.
- Hey, Jimmy, one more gin and tonic, and let's try that Cab again.
- [Bartender] You got it, Dave.
- Are you holding this for your performance?
Hopefully I get those drinks before your audience arrives.
(laughs) - [Bartender] Our friend Ed here, appears to be a magician.
- Yeah, I saw that.
Hey, I'm a, I'm a huge magic fan.

Is that your specialty?
- I wouldn't say a specialty.
- Well, Ed, Dave.
We're having one more drink.

(patrons laugh nervously) - They look plenty shuffled to me, Ed.
- None of us know where the card is.
We know it's not on the bottom.

(apprehensive orchestral music) But, but if I give, if I give the cards a magic wave.

(cards flutter) Uh!
- Oh no.
- It's okay, Ed.
Here, let me get 'em.
- Wait, wait!
(tense music) Wait.
(dramatic music swells) - [Patrons] Oh my god!

(others laughing) - What was your card?
- Um, the queen of hearts.
(Kate squeals) - Oh my!
(all laughing) - That is unbelievable.
- [Dave] Oh my god.
- That's my card.
(all applauding) - Oh god, Ed, that was amazing.

- How did you do that?
- What can be explained is not poetry.
(all laugh) - That alone deserves another drink.

(Leon laughs) - Great.
