When Michael Harper and Jed Duhon gave their 1950’s home a contemporary facelift, their biggest challenge was to turn harsh slopes into inviting living areas and outlooks. They unified diverse spaces with plants set into architectural frames of limestone, concrete, steel, and gravel. Over years, they created garden interaction with a dining area, playground, pond, shed, and greenhouse.
